Mission Statement:

To provide safe and efficient transportation services to Douglas County resident’s age 60 and older that require door to door service or are unable to access other transportation programs.

Senior Wheels operates in Lawrence from 8:00am – 4:00pm

  Monday through Thursday.

                                                           Fridays, Medical trips only, on demand.

The Bus operates in Baldwin City Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:00am – 3:00 pm.

Buses with wheelchair lifts are available.

Senior Wheels takes older adults to senior centers, shopping, employment, medical appointments, banks, to visit friends and to volunteer positions in the community.  To schedule a ride or learn more about transportation services in Douglas County call (785) 865-6925.

The fixed fare is $3.00 per one way ride.
