Mission Statement:

To provide safe and efficient transportation services to Douglas County resident’s age 60 and older that require door to door service or are unable to access other transportation programs.

For seniors who qualify, Bus 62 operates in Lawrence, Eudora and Lecompton from 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Thursday.

The Bus operates in Baldwin City Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Buses with wheelchair lifts are available.

Bus 62 takes older adults to senior centers, shopping, employment, medical appointments, banks, to visit friends and to volunteer positions in the community.  To schedule a ride or learn more about transportation services in Douglas County call (785) 865-6925. The recommended donation is $1.00 per trip. Rides are available in Douglas County only.
