DCSS is a private, not for profit 501 (c) 3 organization for the benefit of older adults. DCSS is the identified focal point on aging in Douglas County, Kansas.
Through the generosity of Jason McAfee, General Manager of Briggs Subaru in Lawrence, the Senior Meals Program benefited from a loaned Subaru for the week between Christmas and New Years. By loaning Senior Meals this vehicle we were able to qualify for an additional $1000 grant through the Subaru “Share the Love” campaign. This grant allowed us to provide even more frozen meals to our customers over the holiday weekends. We encourage you to stop by Briggs Subaru located at 2300 W. 29th Terrace to thank them for their strong community support.
